LIVE IN PERSON with ZOOM viewing also possible
This class will have an online ZOOM option and also meet in person. We will meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month for 5 hours from 9-2 with a potluck lunch beginning in March of 2025.
This is my 9th class offering of my herbal intensive program. The first year we use Rosemary Gladstar's program as the base to build from and go more in-depth from there. We learn body system by body system with a focus on learning categories of herbs as well as individual herbs that have an affinity for different body systems. This first year gives you the ability to help friends and family with common concerns. For those who choose to continue learning with our Intermediate (Year 2) and Advanced (Year 3) classes, we dive deeper into several herbal methodologies to look at the body in a more proactive way.
Registration is open now and is $275. Class size is limited to 25 people.
$275 registration fee due at enrollment
$85 each month
$85 discount if the full year’s tuition is paid when classes begin.
$50 credit if you register with a friend.

Expand your ability and confidence in supporting your family’s health. This is a systematic look at how to address wellness concerns from a folk herbalism perspective. This year-long program was created by renowned herbalist Rosemary Gladstar. Using her very hands-on approach to learning and her extensive course binder as a supplement we will focus on a new discussion topic each month with additional discussion and materials provided by Kate Bodmann. We will create health-promoting herbal preparations each month for you to use with your family. We will possibly have field trips for those interested. Upon completion of assignments, course of study, and review by Kate Bodmann a certificate of completion will be awarded from Rosemary Gladstar's Science and Art of Herbalism and Kate Bodmann's Rooted Wisdom.
*Those who are interested can continue for a Year Two Program where we look at herbal theory and approaches to getting to the root of health patterns using Traditional Chinese Medicine patterns such as Five Element theory and Chinese Organ systems. We also look at the Western Tissue States and Ayurvedic doshas to help us get a fuller picture of those whom we are trying to help.
