I have been offering Herb of the Month club since 2012 as a way for people to more easily learn about herbs by focusing on just one per month. Each subscription is a series focused on a different group of herbs. In the last series we discussed weeds as medicine and how to utilize some of those herbs. This round we are bringing it even closer to home, literally into your kitchen, as we talk Kitchen Medicine. We will discuss the health benefits of common herbs and foods in your kitchen and how to use them when a minor cold or illness is knocking at your door.
As always as a part of the club you will receive an herbal product that corresponds to the herb that is highlighted that month. This series will be a little tastier than in the past though. Rather than tinctures paid members will get herbal syrups, honeys, and bitters as a few examples.
The monthly newsletter on the herb includes such things as history, recipes, and usage. There is not a 1 oz or 2 oz option this round and most products will be a 4 oz size. Membership for this round is only 5 months from August through December and is $15/month paid in advance which is $75. Shipping is an additional $15 for out of town members. You can join at any time and will get all back herbal products from this series.
