You know that feeling when spring is in the air and you just feel that sneeze coming? Nature is reminding us how interdependent we are!  And we can use gentle, healing gifts from nature to help us get back in balance!

Tip #1 – If you suffer from allergy symptoms a great way to reduce your body’s inflammatory response is to lower how much inflammatory load your body has to deal with. I don’t mean stay inside though!  But instead, after you have enjoyed the healthy air outside come inside and neti pot to cleanse out your sinuses.  At the end of the day take a shower before going to bed to be sure you aren’t bringing pollen to sleep with you in your hair and on your body.

Tip #2 – Another proactive approach we can all use is adding nettles in our lives!  A tea or overnight infusion of stinging nettles can do wonders for rejuvenating your energy, stopping itchy eyes, and alleviating other allergy symptoms.  Stop by for a bag of nettles to get started!

Tip #3 - In herbal medicine we see seasonal allergies as an overreaction of the immune system that is contributed to by your liver needing a bit of support. Spring greens and sour foods help us nourish our liver in the long-term. In the short-term try herbs like Milk Thistle, Reishi and Turmeric can help!

Tip #4 – If you are suffering I would be glad to make you a custom blend for your needs or we can use some tried and true Chinese herbal blends that can get you feeling better soon!

Tip #5 Allergies aren't the only sign of a liver imbalance. Reach out if you are suffering from;  fatigue, skin conditions, menstrual irregularities, PMS, frustration, and anxiety.

If you need more information about any of these topics please reach out and schedule a consultation soon! Your health is worth it!
